"Amazing service and stylish furniture!"
From start to finish, my experience with Liberty Floors was fantastic. I got a new TV console and side table — both look amazing in my home. They feel premium without the crazy price tag. I’ll definitely be coming back when it’s time to upgrade my bedroom furniture.

"Great value, great people"
What stood out to me was the helpful and honest staff. I came in unsure about what kind of wardrobe I needed, and they really listened to my needs and helped me choose something that fits both my space and style. The finish is beautiful and the build feels very durable.
- A sturdy external framed ledged and braced pine door, ideal for a external gate or shed door. This door is manufactured using a tongue and grooved technique of interlocking each boarded panel with a ridge on one side. The board braces are fixed with staples. Hinges should always be fitted where the braces point down (left hand side on the image).

Handling and Fitting Info
HANDLING AND STORAGE Gates should always be stored flat, ideally in a similar environment to where they are to be installed. Protect the Gate from damp and dirt by leaving it in its protective packaging until ready for fi nishing and fi tting. Gates should not be fi tted where extremes of temperature or humidity may occur, e.g. in a newly plastered room or near a sauna. In new build situations the Gates should only be fi tted when the property is ready for fi nal decoration. INSTALLATION When trimming the gate to fi t, 12.5mm can be removed from each edge of the Gate to a maximum reduction of 25mm in both the height and width. Any reduction must be removed evenly from each edge of the Gate, e.g. to trim your Gate by 8mm in width, remove 4mm off each side. Fitting of recessed furniture and locks must not be placed within 76mm (3”) of any rail/side joint as this may weaken the Gate. Three hinges should be used to hang all Gates, to prevent warping or bowing. All hardware screw holes should be pre-drilled to prevent splitting of the timber. Hinges should always be fi tted where the braces point downwards. Latches and locks should not be fi tted adjacent to Gate mid-rails where the joint may be compromised. FINISHING Gates will require a light sanding prior to fi nishing using a fi ne grade sandpaper (grit number 240 or 320). All timber surfaces should be fully fi nished. Failure to treat all the timber surfaces may lead to excessive changes in moisture content which will cause the timber to shrink or swell, possibly causing splits and distortion. Please refer to the fi nish manufacturer’s application instructions for further details. It is important to apply the treatment to the Gate before fi nal installation. The Gate panels are tapered and thinner than the other parts of the Gate and are therefore more susceptible to moisture. Coatings must be thick and cover all parts of the panels. Clear translucent coatings are not recommended as the timber may discolour through UV degradation. DO Use a ‘High Build’ tinted wood-stain or good quality exterior paint suitable for veneered Gates Apply fi rst coat of fi nish immediately after unpacking Gates from protective packaging Apply coats equally to all faces and edges including the top and bottom of the Gate Use the same number of coats for lock, latch and hinge cut-outs. DO NOT Use oils, wax, dyes, varnishing, polishing, waxing or preservative treatments Use thinned/mixed paints or stains Mix incompatible products, e.g. paint on one Gate face and stain on the opposite face MAINTENANCE To prolong the natural beauty of your door regularly clean the surface with a damp cloth. If the fi nish appears to fade after a few years simply apply a single coat of fi nish to renew its lustre.
